The company even plans to continue the adventure with a title called Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which focuses on Quidditch, the great forgotten piece of current software. A multiplayer mode is expected on the fans’ side, but it’s not for everyone.
Multiplayer on PC for Hogwarts Legacy
For PC gamers, a multiplayer feature isn’t really a surprise. In 2023 they were already able to discover the work of Team Together. These fans took the lead in developing the HogWarp mod, which was extremely popular and allowed dozens of players to gather in Hogwarts Castle to wander around and have fun casting spells. However, even if Hogwarp is very popular, but has its weaknesses: It doesn’t really offer any new multiplayer content and only allows 10 people per lobby in Hogwarts Legacy. Namely, that the event, which mobilized more than 160 people on the same server, was just a test to test the mod’s limits and is not representative of its normal capabilities.
However, Together has no plans to stop, especially after realizing the potential of their creation. On the official Discord server, one of the users asked the team if they planned to update the mod. “At the moment we are focusing on other projects but plan to complete them later. » replied one of the members. Although this message remains vague, it gives hope to fans of Hogwarts Legacy. We can conclude that in the future the group will decide to increase the capabilities of lobbies and create real multiplayer missions. However, you still have to be patient because there is no date for this major upgrade yet.
