“Knuckles Paramount+” series releases first trailer

Knuckles, Paramount, releases, series, trailer

The first trailer for the Sonic spinoff series features Knuckles as a theme, and no one asked for it, and it actually looks kind of cute and badass.

What if Knuckles (voiced by the mighty Idris Elba) was Sonic’s roommate? What if Knuckles also has a stupid human friend who he wants to train as an echidna warrior? If these questions sound appealing to you, you’re in luck. The Knuckles series looks just as silly and dated as Paramount’s two (very successful) Sonic the Hedgehog movies to date, but maybe that’s what we need right now.

The first trailer for the Paramount+ series is actually quite generous, giving us a look at the day-to-day life of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles post-Sonic 2, which means a spinoff is likely will directly tie into the third film. Released this Christmas, the live-action version of “Shadow and perhaps And the kid who got shot and got Shadow involved in the war.

For the most part, the preview shows Knuckles causing the usual fish-out-of-water romp we’ve come to expect from past live-action Sonic entries, but seeing Sonic and Tails and others in the movie The characters are surprising and impactful. Considering all the returning cast and CGI involved, the six-episode (possibly limited) series will likely be expensive to produce. Outside of the comedy, there’s a secondary villain (including a lackey) who harnesses the echidna’s powers and follows in the robot’s footsteps.

Paramount+ also shared its first promotional poster April 26, 2024, release date:

It looks like all six episodes of the series will be released on the same day, so feel free to get ready with your Sonic pals.
