New Demon Slayer party-style Mario game gets preview announcement

In case you missed it, popular manga and anime series Demon Slayer is getting its own Mario Party-style video game on the Nintendo Switch this April. It will star Tanjiro, Nezuko and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corp as they make their way through themed panels and take part in various mini-games.

Sega’s latest update today is the release of a new preview trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!. You can check it above. If you’re a fan of games like Mario Party, this could be a lot of fun for up to four friends.

ANIME DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA TURNS INTO A BOARD GAME!
Iconic landmarks from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, will appear as panels! Roll the dice to progress through the squares! The board has a day and night period. During the day, you will play events and mini-games to prepare for the night, where you will search for demons to defeat – the goal is to become a great swordsman Demon Slayer!

TAKE CONTROL OF ICONIC CHARACTERS!
Players can choose from their favorite characters including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and the nine Hashiros! Nezuko, who cannot be active during the day, appears as a support character to help players throughout the game!

In mini-games where you fight demons like the Hand Demon, you’ll be able to swing the Joy-Conâ„¢ like Nichirin’s sword to attack!
