Grimorio of Games announced Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection, a 3D remake of Sword of the Necromancer released in 2021 and available on PC and consoles in 2024.
Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is a reimagining of the original game. It retains the same essence of dungeon exploring and monster summoning. This remake or “Resurrection” is based on the engine of Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant, and offers new ways to fight, as well as renewed mechanisms and systems. Additionally, it includes the ability to customize the artificial intelligence of summoned monsters.
It will also bring remastered artwork and English and Japanese voice acting, as well as new scenes that delve into the tragic love story of Tama Yes Size. Defeating the Necromancer’s Sword: Resurrection will also unlock bonuses in Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant when available, such as the ability to summon bosses from the remake as a special summon.

Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is an action RPG with procedural elements in which you can revive your defeated enemies to fight alongside you. This is a remake of Sword of the Necromancer (2021), now in 3D and with renewed mechanics.
Transform your enemies into allies using the forbidden powers of the Necromancer’s Sword and help Tama reach the depths of the dungeon to gain enough power to resurrect Size.
Thanks to this remake, we can gather a small army of monsters, equip ourselves with weapons and relics to level up and face the guardians who stand between us and our objective.
Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection tells the legend of a heretic who decided to violate the will of the gods to obtain eternal life deep in the mountains. The heretic succeeded in this aberrant attempt and created a tool for forbidden rituals that could grant immortality…and even resurrect the dead. Over the years and centuries, many have attempted to gain this power, but all they found in the Necromancer’s crypt was his disappearance. It is said that the tool created by the Necromancer is also a weapon… The Sword of Necromancer.
Now Tama, a former thug, is tasked with escorting the priestess Koko on her pilgrimage across the continent. During their journey, Koko dies and Tama takes the body to the crypt of the Necromancer, where legends say that there dwells a power capable of resurrecting the dead. Full of despair, Tama will enter the dungeon in an attempt to obtain the forbidden power of necromancy, unaware of the dangers that lurk in the shadows.
