Microsoft Flight Simulator, in collaboration with Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, takes you beyond planet Earth for the first time into the harsh deserts of the world of Dune and the planet Arrakis. The skies above Arrakis are flown over by a skilled craft called the Ornithopter, a nimble flying machine powered by four precisely tuned swinging wings. The Royal Atreides Ornithopter is a special ultra-performance variant of the aircraft known for its lightning-fast acceleration, blistering speed and precise maneuverability when under the control of pilots who know it – and who have the power to do so to survive the harsh extremes of Dune.
Microsoft Flight Simulator Starting today, aviators have the unique opportunity to demonstrate their courage and skill in the cockpit of the Royal Atreides Ornithopter in this latest expansion. This includes three tutorials: takeoff, landing and free fall. Once Simmers have mastered the basics, they can try their hand at the pack’s six activities: five trials and a daring rescue mission in which pilots must save their instructor before a massive sandstorm hits him.
