The Animal Crossing and Doom fanbases have collaborated with all kinds of good stuff over the last few weeks, but this latest creation may have been the cherry on top.
Andrei Mishanin, the Russian artist we featured on the site earlier this year for their amazing Pokémon x Animal Crossing, is back and with the best video we've ever done and so on you saw it.
Introduced DoOMANIMAL, a metal band made up of Isabelle, Tom Nook, a DOOM Slayer helmeted citizen, and a version of Marnie's Pokémon Sword and Shield, it all revolves around the great DOOM theme.
We don't want any particular excuse to blow up that DoOM theme on our speakers – of course slapping, as the kids say – but to see Tom Nook play no doubt playing that name as a rock god somehow makes it so much better. DoOM's official DoOM account actually thanked the video maker for their hard work.
