The new Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 have arrived with many new features, including new processors and lots of artificial intelligence. But one of the changes in this generation of the Galaxy S was not well received by some users: Samsung decided to change the way the screen displays colors and images, this time opting for for a more natural, less saturated look.

This decision sparked criticism from some users who They prefer these intense colors that Samsung mobile screens have shown so far. The company therefore seems to have listened to these comments and has decided to offer the possibility of choosing between more natural or more intense colors, through a new update.

More “vivid” colors on the Galaxy S24 screen, if you want them

It’s no secret that Samsung Galaxy phones usually choose display more intense or saturated colors on the screen. This provides a more engaging feel in the photos we take and the videos we record, and in general in all the content we see on the screen.

But for the Galaxy S24, Samsung decided to implement more natural and realistic colors on the screen. The devices offer the possibility of choosing between two screen modes, “intense” and “natural”, but even choosing the intense mode, for some users, is not enough, since it does not correspond to the intensity or saturation level reached in terminals such as the previous generation of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The new update for the Galaxy S24 fixes this problem, if you will. Now in the menu to change the display mode, in the Display section of the settings menu, you can adjust the “vividness” or intensity of the screen between different levels, from the advanced settings section. In this way, explains Samsung, “it is possible to enjoy a more dynamic screen”, if you wish.

The update also brings changes to the Galaxy S24’s camera. Samsung explains in an official press release that it has implemented improvements to the camera and its functions, including improvements to the zoom or zoom function in the cameras, improvements to portrait mode, improvements to night mode (Nightography) and capabilities when record video with the main cameras.

This update will be available from this month of February, and will gradually reach all Samsung Galaxy S24 users. To find out if you have already received it, you can access the settings menu of your mobile, then click on Software update and select Download and install. If available, the mobile will be updated. Remember to preferably download the update when you are connected to a WiFi network.
