“It’s getting ridiculous” – Cosmetic bundle in Diablo 4 costs almost as much as the game

In addition to the four parts of the mount set, the bundle also contains 7,000 platinum.

The latest offers in the Diablo 4 shop are (once again) causing plenty of discussion among the community. There are two bundles in particular: one is about a mount, the other is about alternative looks for the portals.

Diablo 4: 65 dollars for a bundle

The “Glass Scourge” bundle is causing a stir; with its price of 65 dollars, it is close to the price of the standard edition of Diablo 4 (70 dollars). A circumstance that is met with incomprehension by many fans, as you can read, for example, in this X post from Wowhead:

“No. Jesus Christ. I like D4 and the mount looks cool. But $65 is insane.”writes Logan under the post. “This is the kind of thing that should be given as a reward for defeating the hardest boss in Hardcore mode,” finds Bawkbasoup.

The bundle includes a skin for your mount, the matching armor for the horse as well as a trophy and a banner. There is more to that 7,000 platinum, an in-game currency. So there is something more for the money than “just a horse”.

Another offer is also criticized. The “Dark Paths” bundle costs 30 dollars and, in addition to 1,000 platinum, also contains five alternative colors for your portals.

Reddit user Mwatki20 finds that laughable in itself, but it is completely blown away when someone explains that each class only gets one specific portal and can’t use the other four.

Once again, in-game currency is combined with cosmetic items, so the bundle actually contains the portals worth 20 dollars and platinum worth 10 dollars.
