Faces are one of the most customizable elements of the Apple Watch and allow them to differentiate between users’ watches. Customization, tastes, different color combinations, complications and countless other features are the essence of the Apple smart watch. The user can create multiple spheres and switch between them. With the release of watchOS 10, the simple swipe gesture to switch between watch faces has been removed. However, watchOS 10.2 reintroduced this simple gesture which we show you how to enable or disable below.
Swipe across the screen to change Apple Watch faces
The ease with which we could switch between watch faces changed with the release of watchOS 10, with Apple removing this feature. However, it got it back with the launch of watchOS 10.2 and has remained in effect ever since, even in the first beta of watchOS 10.4 currently available.
Switch between your watch faces by swiping left or right from the edge of the screen.
The effect of this action is as simple as, located in one of the spheres, swipe left or right to change between the spheres of our gallery. Another way to switch between them is to long press on the screen and swipe in the gallery. However, the latter method is slightly more cumbersome.
