Sunset Harbor, the new DLC for cities simulation: Cities: Skylines, will sweeten your day soon. As Paradox Interactive announced, the expansion will be launched on March 26, 2020 for all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One) at the same time. The expansion is all about fishing, shipping and logistics.
The features of the Sunset Harbor expansion at a glance:
- Under the sea: Players discover the new fishing industry and take control of fishing boats at sea and fish farms, opening up new industries to their cities. In doing so, they ensure that four new policies are observed so that companies can deliver the freshest fish to grocery stores.
- Water march! No open water sources? No problem! With the new water treatment systems that treat wastewater for additional uses.
- Buses, buses, we need buses! Players discover and use the new bus system to transport their citizens, including the long-distance bus service for transit between cities on the highway. The trolleybus service offers an environmentally friendly travel method with electric drive using overhead lines.
- Take off in style: Players can escape the traffic on the ground by taking off with the passenger helicopter service and connecting people and places in a whole new way. The brand new aviation club also encourages small plane owners to participate in recreational aviation, which adds to the attractiveness and entertainment of a city.
- Five new maps: The perfect place for the perfect city! Sunset Harbor offers players a variety of different maps with boreal, tropical and temperate areas.
- One for all: Transport hubs connect different public transport networks and make it easier for citizens to switch between different modes of transport.
- Waste disposal: Players improve their garbage management skills with transfer facilities that make it easier to handle the garbage without affecting the city layout and property value.
