Tidy, simplified, flexible: These are the three characteristics new user interface for Windows 10 unite in itself.
Microsoft presented the revised UI, which was mentioned a few weeks ago, in a video. It is said to celebrate the recent mark of one billion Windows 10 users (via TheVerge):
What changes in Windows 10?
The video shows various smaller and bigger ones Adjustments to the design of the user interface:
- new explorer
- new context menus
- new lock screen
- new app icons
- Changes in live tile spacing
The new file app, which appears in the video, suggests that Microsoft is apparently also working on a revision of the Explorer – an innovation that some Windows users have long wanted.
The adaptation of the user interface for more flexibility is in the context of Microsoft's strategy to give users more freedom in the design of their operating system.

When will Microsoft release the new user interface? Microsoft has not yet revealed that. However, we expect that the developers will provide further details about their future plans for Windows as part of the online keynote event scheduled for March 30, 2020.
