7.0.0, Notes, patch, Splatoon, tomorrow, updates, version

Splatoon 3 continues to receive a lot of support from Nintendo and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. There will be more DLC coming as part of the Expansion Pass in the next few days, and the game is being updated very regularly with new updates that add more stuff, rebalance the game, and fix bugs.

Well, the latest example of this has been announced. Nintendo has officially confirmed that Splatoon 3 will be updated to version 7.0.0 tomorrow. The update will, as usual, rebalance some weapons and more. The patch notes were already published before the update, so you can see them below.

This update focuses on Side Order DLC support as well as feature additions, changes to Splatfest, and multiplayer tweaks for Fresh Season 2024, which releases in March.

For multiplayer, we’ve added new main weapons and tweaked some main weapons to make them easier to handle for players who use them frequently.

Our next update is scheduled for the middle of the 2024 Fresh Season and should focus on balance adjustments.
