One thing that Nintendo has been doing for a long time is releasing new profile pictures, wallpapers and borders that Nintendo Switch Online members can get with the gold coins they can earn. These rewards are usually themed around various games, such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Strikers: Battle League, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.
There are some more icons available now, but they might surprise you. Icons are now available for EarthBound Beginnings. EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings originally came to Nintendo Switch Online a few years ago. However, the new icons coincidentally appeared on the same day Nintendo announced that Mother 3 was coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack in Japan.
