IO Interactive is once again giving the long-running action hit Hitman: World of Assassination a new Elusive Target mission. Hollywood star Sean Bean returns to the stage in “The Undying”.
The developer has now confirmed the comeback of the Elusive Target mission “The Undying” in Hitman: World of Assassination – and with it, Hollywood star and two-time BAFTA winner Sean Bean is returning to the title. He once again takes on the role of Mark Faba, a former MI5 agent who now works as a freelance assassin and often fakes his own death.
Starting March 22nd, you can take advantage of your chance to complete the returning mission for four weeks. The game is played on the Miami map, where you have to stick to the verses of the infamous “Undying”. The aim is to prevent Mark Faba from fulfilling his mission at the Global Innovation Race Event.
The mission is included in the free starter pack; As long as “The Undying” is available, you can repeat the mission as many times as you want. Owners of World of Assassination also receive free access to the mission that was originally released for Hitman 2. An in-game reward awaits you for successfully completing the mission.
With the DLC package “The Undying Pack” you get permanent access to the mission for 4.99 dollars. The additional content includes the following:
- The Ouroboros – A three-level arcade mission that includes The Undying Elusive Target and allows permanent access to the mission through Arcade Mode
- The “The Ephemeral” suit with eye patch
- Three items: Kronstadt Mini Flash Robo XOI-2900, Kronstadt IOI-1998X Surround Earphones, Kronstadt Explosive Pen (Gen 2)
- A range of cosmetic items for the Freelancer Safehouse, inspired by the iconic Elusive Target mission.
In addition to the Bean comeback as Mark Faba, there will also be free content in the next few months. Just in time for Easter, the “Berlin Egg Hunt” event awaits you, where you can unlock the raver suit. New challenges for additional rewards, five recurring Elusive Targets and three rounds of curated contracts round off the fresh content in the near future.
