There are already PlayStation game highlights on the PC, but Sony wants to further bring the worlds of PlayStation and PC gaming together. This new announcement proves that.
Video games, console accessories and online services are no longer just for one manufacturer’s products. Many things also appear on other platforms.
Sony already offers former PlayStation exclusive titles such as God of War or The Last of Us on Steam, and now the Japanese publisher also wants to enable PC support for the PlayStation VR 2 VR headset, which previously only works on the PS5. Sony writes this in a new message on the PlayStation Blog.
Sony wants to implement support on the PC in 2024, but there is no guarantee. Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t reveal what support will look like. So far, the VR glasses are not intended for use on a PC.
