We’ve given this list a good spring clean after the February 2024 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. There are tons of new games coming to the Switch in 2024, so if we have to wait until 2025 for the Switch 2, this list should make you pretty happy. Also, take that 35 with a grain of salt – it’s a 35, if you will…


In pursuit of the best new Nintendo Switch games release soon? 2023 was a prime year for the now-aging hybrid console, so even if the Switch seems to be winding down as it nears its eighth year on the market, there’s still plenty of goodies to pick up in 2024.

As for first-party offerings, Another Code makes a glorious return, as does Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Princess Peach takes center stage in a brand new game. And remasters of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon are on the way. The third-party slate also looks pretty healthy — maybe 2024 is the year we’ll be there finally get Silksong, too?
