According to the latest reports, Skull and Bones is seeing disappointing active player numbers.
With approximately 850,000 active players, Skull and Bones appears to be the next big disappointment for Ubisoft!
In addition, the statistics also counted the players who only tried the trial version out of the 850,000 gamers. So the real number is even lower.
The biggest hurdle for the much-postponed pirate game is probably not the title itself, but the hurdle of the high starting price of $79.99, although Ubisoft+ is still available as an alternative with a monthly price of $17.99 for one month.
Despite this, Ubisoft’s decision to charge full price for their self-proclaimed AAAA title with numerous microtransactions and “GaaS” elements appears to be having a negative impact on player numbers.
