Ubisoft has already revealed all of the new features and the first of the two new operators that will join Rainbow Six Siege during 2024 starting with Deimos, the new character from season 1 of year 9.

New operator: Deimos

The new attacking operator Deimos is the villain of Rainbow Six Siege and wants to see the end of Team Rainbow. His ‘gadget’ is a drone called Deathmark that can identify and track the position of a defender. The weapons he carries are Asalto rifle AK-74M o to M590A1 shotgun and the powerful revolver .44 Vendetta as a secondary weapon. Its accessories are hand grenades or heavy demolition charges.

Here’s the roadmap so you know not only what’s coming to the game this season, but all year long.

  • 5 new training maps in season 1, more defending AI and more controllable attackers.
  • Those who purchase the Year 9 Season 2 Pass Rainbow Six Siege will receive a pass to claim an Operator. If you already have them all, you will get 600 R6 Credits.
  • Improvements to technology to ban cheaters and eliminate toxicity in communications.
  • Changes to ADS and LMG (machine guns) to adjust the overall balance of the weapons.
  • Azami will receive a swing in season 1, the Colombian operator Solis in the second and Dokkaebi in the third.
  • The ‘locker‘ or locker in which all inventory can be organized.
  • Starting in Season 3 of Year 9, the Insignia to commemorate the achievements and challenges we overcome. We can link three to our profile.
  • New tab Carrera to keep track of the entire progression.
