LEGO Fortnite hit like a bomb when it was released and has enjoyed great popularity ever since. A huge new update is now supposed to provide replenishment, which is reportedly in the works.
Epic Games apparently has a huge and major update in the works for the successful title LEGO Fortnite, which is intended to further refine and comprehensively expand the gaming experience. The popular LEGO mode would therefore be significantly larger in the near future.
According to the popular and usually well-informed Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Epic Games is preparing to release the LEGO x UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) update. The update is called “Atom” and will also bring with it a whole range of new LEGO sets, including Action Figures, Duplo, Technic, Primo, Quatro, City Set and more. You can also build your own LEGO worlds in Fortnite using both existing components and imported parts of your own.
Your LEGO Fortnite skins should be used in your creations. And: Your own maps should be able to be monetized, i.e. you can also turn your creations into money. In order to publish a LEGO island for Fortnite, you must agree to the relevant terms of use and payment. This step could mean that a whole range of user-generated fresh game content will be available to you in the future. An official and specific announcement is still pending.
To date, LEGO mode has relied on procedurally generated maps, so that every player experiences a different game world. In the future, a large number of players could use the same map creations and the community is already speculating as to which possible variants could be the most popular. For example, a map about the Marvel superheroes, which is the most frequently requested one, is brought into play here.
