In September last year, Google delighted us by presenting YouTube Create, its first mobile video editing app. Of course, this left us with honey on our lips, since the application was only available in a handful of countries, among which Europe was not included. Until now.
You can now use YouTube Create by signing in with a Spanish Google account, which opens the door to a full-featured video editor both powerful and easy to use. Most importantly, it’s completely free and you can use it even if you don’t plan to upload your videos to YouTube.
Google Video Editor
There are many apps for editing videos with your mobile, although they often require monthly subscriptions or have frustrating limitations such as ads or watermarks or quality restrictions on the resulting video. He will face them all the new Google application, YouTube Create.
Launched in beta, YouTube Create is a relatively easy-to-use video editor which stands out for not overwhelming us with tons of buttons and options, as is the case with similar applications.
To use it you must log in with your Google account, although it is technically possible to use it to locally edit a video that never visits YouTube. To get started, the first step is import your video clips or photos.
It’s then time to place them on the timeline and apply the appropriate effects and animations to give it a special touch. Some advanced effects are included, like one that will eliminate our background even if we don’t have a chroma key behind it.
With YouTube Create you can also add texts (and animate them with different effects), as well as create more advanced compositions such as place one clip on top of another, add stickers, Unlicensed sounds or music from the YouTube library, as well as your own sound effects or songs.
There is no shortage of options add voiceover to your creation or include subtitlesso in YouTube Create you basically have all the tools you need to create a quality video from start to finish.
When you have your creation, you can export to 1080p or 720p resolution and then you are free to save it locally on your mobile, share it with other apps or upload it to YouTube with just the press of a button.
