Photo spheres are back

NOW, spherical photos return to those who already had them before, that is, to Pixel 7 and earlier that have been updated to a recent version of the camera app. This means that owners of a Google Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro are still left out of the party.
The Google Camera help page says photo spheres are available from Google Pixel 3 to Google Pixel 7athe Google Pixel 8 therefore continues to be left aside for reasons that are difficult to understand.
It seems that this is simply the disappearance of spherical photos for those who own a Pixel 7a or earlier it was a mistake and now this has been fixed in the new version of the Google camera app, but the function itself seems well and truly abandoned.
