Balatro It was removed from digital stores for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles in some countries.
Although this did not affect the game on Steam and in countries like Colombia it is still available on all platforms, this news has caused concern. What happened? PlayStack, distributors Balatro
In this text they explain that this happened because certain official group changed the game’s rating from “Suitable for ages 3+” to “Suitable for ages 18+” without warning. This forced stores to remove it.
As you can imagine, this change occurred due to the aesthetics of Balatro, which uses poker cards. Because of this the group had the mistaken idea that the game “contains betting elements and instructions on how to bet”
PlayStack will clarify that this is not only true, but its developer opposes betting. Since this is all a misunderstanding, they think they can make the disappearance of Balatro of these stores is temporary and will return to sale on consoles very soon.
Those who have already purchased it have nothing to worry about, as they can continue playing and reinstalling it no matter what happens.
