It seems like yesterday Samsung presented the new Galaxy S24 range, made up of very competitive mobile phones and equipped with Galaxy AI; but true fans knew that there was still one device missing to complete the range, the FE model which normally takes a little longer to come out so as not to step on the rest.
The Galaxy S23 FE was a success, and thank goodness, because at the time there were rumors that Samsung was going to cancel this device. Today, that success seems to have convinced the company that it’s worth releasing an FE every year to appeal to consumers who don’t want to spring for more expensive models.
Therefore, everything indicates that the Galaxy S24 FE will become a reality, and although the official presentation would still be a few months away, details have already been leaked that would indicate a device closer to the rest of the conventional S24 range.

Therefore, it would use the exact same chip as Samsung’s most expensive models and would instantly be able to “crunch” its rivals in the same price range in terms of pure power.
This would be a big change from the usual FE line, which generally doesn’t use the latest hardware available to keep costs down. The Galaxy S23 FE, for example, was based on the same Exynos 2200 used in the previous generation, the Galaxy S22. The S24 FE is also said to have a 6.1-inch AMOLED display (which is not guaranteed), 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and options of 256 or 128GB of storage. The battery would stand out with its capacity of 4,500 mAh.
The use of Exynos processors in the Galaxy S24 FE would not be surprising, because with the Exynos 2400, Samsung has shown that it is back on track after a somewhat disappointing Exynos 2200; It’s as powerful a processor as Qualcomm’s and surpasses it in some ways.
This brings us to the second rumor, coming from the same source: that all Galaxy S will use an Exynos processor. The logic is that Samsung wants to better differentiate its mobile ranges, making the Galaxy S the preferred option for the majority thanks to Galaxy AI functions. The Galaxy Z foldable phones, on the other hand, are all said to use Snapdragon processors for enthusiasts. Finally, the Galaxy A range would opt for a mix of Exynos and MediaTek processors.
