Be sure to cast your votes in the poll below; but first, let’s look at the box designs themselves.
North America
The design for North America and Europe is remarkably similar, with the only real differences being the general look of the Ryu Hayabusa and the applied art style. Here, Ryu shows off a more ‘traditional’ ninja look, with only his eyes visible beneath his shadowy clothing. It also has some killer (literal) weapons.
Europe
The European design, on the other hand, has a more humanized Ryu, showing a lot more of that pretty face. He also lost his weapons, except for the katana strapped to his back. The background is more or less identical, and the colors are also quite similar. Notice the different title logo, of course!
Japan
The Japanese design is completely different and could be a simple screenshot from an anime movie. Still, it’s a cool, interesting shot, and we get to see Ryu once again wielding a deadly katana with style. We also like the Japanese text used for the title here; only nice things.
Thanks for voting! See you next time for another round of Box Art Brawl.
