A certain fairly popular game from the Crash Bandicoot series will no longer receive content starting today. The least we can say is that it happened quickly.
If you like the Crash Bandicoot license, you probably need to try Team Rumble. A 4v4 MOBA, which is a rather unusual description for a game in this series. However, there is still a small community that remains loyal to the post, and Toys for Bob has maintained it well over time. However, all good things must come to an end, and from now on he will no longer be able to enjoy great new things. It’s time for developers to move on.
The new content for Crash Team Rumble is over
We were told that March 4, 2024 would mark the “end” of Crash Team Rumble. Well, not in the literal sense of the word. The servers will remain active, at least for now, but will no longer receive any new content afterwards. Sad news for some, even if the game received more or less mixed feedback (67/100 from the press and 5.7/10 from gamers on Metacritic upon its release). Some fans still appreciate it, but it’s not the best spin-off in the series. In retrospect you can disagree, because as the saying goes: it’s everyone’s own taste.
However, Toys for Bob won’t just pack up and leave. He has planned a little surprise for the players. This one, available right now, adds a special Battle Pass that brings together all the content from previous seasons. It’s clearly huge and a lovely gift before you go. In addition, it is logically no longer possible to buy Crash Coins, but you can still spend the ones you have. In short, it was an adventure that was short-lived.
The base game will still be accessible online and players will have access to a free Battle Pass that includes 104 new items. This includes all Battle Pass content from Seasons 1-3, as well as all rewards available for the event.
Additionally, Crash Coin purchases will be disabled and players will be able to use their remaining Crash Coins to purchase Battle Pass tier jumps.
