Narcan Already shared Greedy Fall 2: A Dying World will launch in early access, although some may want to wait until the full version.
Announced back in 2022, the upcoming prequel to 2019’s Greedy Rain was revealed again at Nacon’s latest showcase last week. No gameplay has been shown so far, but one thing that has been revealed is that the game will be available in early access. During a live stream discussing the game (thanks to PC Gamer), producer Reda Isber shared: “Greedfall 2 is definitely a more ambitious game than the first. So Early Access seemed like the right choice. We There’s a heavy reliance on gathering player feedback early on and seeing if we’re moving in the right direction.”
One thing you should consider if you’re interested in the game, though, is that you won’t be able to retain your saves between updates. “At launch, players will have access to the entire beginning of the game,” Isbell explained. “They will be able to explore new environments. Then we are planning regular updates. To be clear from the beginning, saves between different updates will not be compatible.” While this won’t be for everyone, at least it’s now clear that it is Good thing so potential players can be prepared to lose the game.

Jehanne Rousseau, CEO of game developer Spiders and lead writer on Greedfall, also talked about the game’s new combat system, which offers a more tactical approach compared to its predecessor. “It’s not turn-based, but you still have this kind of control over your team,” Rousseau said. “Getting player feedback is really important for this particular reason – because this is something new. We’ve never This type of control has not been done before.”
In addition to these sneak peeks and gameplay details, Nacon also shared a cinematic trailer, which you can check out above. There’s currently no release date for the early access version, but it’s expected to launch around this summer.
