Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and the spin-off Warzone are entering the next round: Season 2: Reloaded will be released tomorrow, Wednesday, including new game content. Here is a first overview for you!
Activision Blizzard has confirmed the major update Season 2: Reloaded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Then you will get fresh game content in the current shooter in the form of new maps and game modes for multiplayer, but also new zombies content.
At the beginning of February, the publisher gave the starting signal for Season 2 in the game and initially introduced three 6v6 maps, a war map and new weapons among other features. A roadmap had already promised further features as part of Season 2 – and now the time has come.
In multiplayer, among other things, the map Das Haus, which you know from Call of Duty: Vanguard, returns. It’s a smaller 6v6 map remastered with a modern look. There are also new map variants of Skidrow and Terminal, which are part of the Vortex Decay’s Realm playlist.
Juggermosh is a time-limited game mode that is part of the cross-over with Warhammer 40,000. Here you use Juggernauts inspired by the Warhammer franchise in the entire match. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with the focus being on control of the Chainsword. All players have increased health, which is visible thanks to a bar above each head.
There is also the Bounty mode, a team deathmatch-like variant in which the best player on each team is specially marked and marked for all opponents. Anyone who eliminates this player can secure additional points for their team.
There are also innovations in the game’s Zombies mode, where you can expect a fresh story mission, a new warlord and more. Whether Activision Blizzard can satisfy the dissatisfied fans who complained about the lack of Zombies content in the current installment remains to be seen.
The new mission revolves around Sergei Ravenov, who you must help while investigating a new anomaly in the Dark Aether. Whoever completes the mission opens a new rift that offers fresh rewards, including the Blood Burner Key, which you can use to summon a Blood Burner motorcycle. The new warlord is called Keres and is a chemical warfare specialist.
