Kunitsu-Gami Path of Goddess was shown in detail during Capcom’s showcase and looks quite promising. If the gameplay appears relatively complete, it appears to be artistically successful.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of Goddess, its full name, has been announced for some time and was only shown on March 6th during the Xbox Showcase Partner. The opportunity to see a little more gameplay for this work that is as atypical as it is visually unique.
Kunitsu-Gami Path of Goddess, the new nugget from Capcom?
As a reminder, in Kunitsu-Gami we play as a young warrior who fights against the corruption that has invaded sacred places by trying to get a dozen legendary masks together with a mysterious woman, Miko. In addition to a little exploration, the game also promises some puzzle sequences, but also a kind of tower defense. Yes, yes, tower defense.
Throughout the day we will recruit villagers whom we will help eradicate corruption. And when night falls, the demons are on the move and we must fight. An army of monsters will trouble you and we must clean up while ensuring the safety of our comrades and the infrastructure we can build and/or reinforce if necessary. Superiors will also be present to make your life difficult, very difficult. It is difficult to get a concrete idea of the difficulties from here, but in any case they promise to be absolutely enormous.
Kunitsu-Gami doesn’t have a release date yet, but will be coming soon to PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The game will also land on Xbox Game Pass upon release.
