Forza Motorsport Update 6 invites you to explore different engines, the beating heart of your favorite cars.
Enjoy a new featured tour – the Combustion Tour – with additional Spotlight Cars and Car Pass deliveries each week, as well as a new schedule of Multiplayer and Rivals events.
Update 6 also introduces the vehicle progression changes we previously reported to you and adjusts the Daytona pitlane exit based on your feedback.
Forza Motorsport Update 6 will be available for download starting at 10:00 a.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. UTC on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. Spotlight Cars and new Career, Featured Multiplayer, and Rivals events begin Wednesday, March 13, starting at 4:00 p.m. PT (12:00 a.m. UTC on Thursday, March 14).
Auto Progress
With the changes to vehicle progression in Forza Motorsport Update 6, you have the freedom to equip the parts you want to add to your vehicle, regardless of vehicle tier.
The first change is to remove the level restriction on performance parts, making them all available at vehicle level 1. This allows players to install parts in any order, regardless of vehicle tier. Whether it’s an engine swap, racing tires or body kits – you have the freedom to build cars according to your wishes.
Second, players can use in-game credits to purchase Car Points when they exit the upgrade screen, at a ratio of 4,500 Credits for 500 Car Points. This change gives you the ability to instantly upgrade your car with credits. As before, if you save your credits, you can earn car points for upgrades by leveling up the car.
Game improvements and release notes
We continue to optimize and improve the overall stability of Forza Motorsport. Update 6 introduces new fixes and experience improvements, including additional lighting options for the livery editor so players can see how their designs look in different conditions.
After adding Daytona to our track list in Update 4, we listened to your feedback and changed the pit lane exit to avoid collisions when re-entering the track and to better represent the track as it is used in real-world events.
This update also introduces 8 new music tracks to the game, composed by Kaveh Cohen and Michael Nielsen as well as Peter Holmstrom, and these will play while you are in Homespace.
