Apparently Square Enix has pulled out all the stops and we are told of a “grandiose”, “generous”, “breathtaking” adventure – in short, there is no shortage of adjectives. Additionally, you can take part in some really cool mini-games throughout your epic journey. And one of them seems to be in the studio’s sights, but for good reason.
An expansion for the Queen’s Blood in FF7 Rebirth?
Those who made the new work certainly know that it is Queen’s Blood. This special and complex card game is surprisingly popular. From what we know, many players have spent several hours playing it because it is so addictive. At the same time, it is possible to compete against other players throughout the world of FF7 Rebirth until you are the best in this discipline. Regardless, Square Enix is on the lookout as it may be planning to expand the content of this famous mini-game.
It was Naoki Hamaguchi, the game’s director, who revealed this in an interview with Red Bull. He was asked how many cards there were in total and whether the company planned to add more. He then explained that it wasn’t certain yet, but that the positive feedback on Queen’s Blood was encouraging. Therefore, the team is “considering” implementing extensions. So it’s not set in stone, but it still smells very good for the future. Be continued.
There are 145 cards in total. We haven’t made a decision regarding further development of Queen’s Blood, but so far Media that have played it have given very positive feedback about it, so we’d like to think about expansions.
