It’s been a month and a half since the Apple Vision Pro was launched on the market, although For now, they are only available in the United States. This is why doubt about the arrival date of the Vision Pro in USA and other countries is so recurring. A question that remains without an official answer… for now.
At MacRumors they found a reference in the visionOS code which, although it is not a very clear indication of its launch in new countries, looks very good. Even more so if we add it to reports like those from Ming-Chi Kuo predicting an international launch for this first half.
International Vision Pro, yes, but not in USA
When Ming-Chi Kuo and other analysts with sources at Apple predicted the international launch of the Vision Pro, one question we always had on the table is whether it will reach the major countries in which Apple operates or whether, on the contrary, it will It will remain in a few selected territories. Everything is more in the direction of the latter solution.
In the aforementioned MacRumors information, they found references to other languages in which the Vision Pro virtual keyboard will be available:
- German
- Simplified Chinese
- Korean
- Canadian French
- French from France
- Australian English
- Canadian English
- Japanese English
- British English
- Singapore English
- Japanese
Seeing this, the insinuation that reflects this is the Vision Pro arrives in Germany, Canada, China, South Korea, France, Japan, Singapore and the United Kingdom. According to MacRumors, Hong Kong and Taiwan are also likely territories. And the first step to getting there is that they already support these languages.
In the absence of confirmation, but combining this information with other previous information, the idea would be announce this launch at WWDC 2024 which will take place in Junewith the idea that reservations will be open in these territories the same week or in the following weeks.
It would not be good news for USA, although not everything is negative
The fact that USA is not one of the second territories selected for the sale of the Vision Pro is bad news for Spaniards interested in buying or at least trying the product. We would have to continue to wait.
However, to take the positive side of the situation, This would make your purchase much more accessible than traveling to the United States. as some Spaniards have already done (see our colleague Pedro Aznar as an example). Buying it in France and even Germany would also be more tedious than doing it in USA, especially knowing that we would not have a Spanish guarantee, but undoubtedly cheaper in costs than in the United States, because the trips from our country are cheaper (and take fewer hours).
Likewise, it would also serve to know the price at which it would arrive in USA, knowing that for the vast majority of Apple products, we share prices throughout the euro zone. So this will serve to dispel doubts and see if in the end, adding taxes, they reach that barrier of 4,000 dollars or if they stay closer to 3,499 US dollars (although taxes are not reflected there ).
