After seven years of work, the Cuban independent studio Empty Head Games—made up of artist Josuhe Pagliery, programmer Johann Armenteros and a few other collaborators—is finally ready to release its first game. Let’s see the trailer of Saviorless and find out the release date of one of the few titles that have come out of the Caribbean island.

This game will be distributed by the French company Dear Villagers, which in the past has published works such as Souldiers, The Forgotten City y Fort Solis. You can watch the trailer with Spanish subtitles below.

Saviorless is a 2D action and platform game. It uses hand-drawn art to illustrate a dark fantasy story in which we control three different characters with different abilities: Little Antar, the mysterious Savior, and the ruthless hunter Nento.

The game was financed by an IndieGogo campaign with the help of the Innovators Foundation, but faced tough challenges due to the lack of reliable technical resources in Cuba. Despite everything, the team moved forward and soon we will be able to enjoy their work.
