NVIDIA has indicated in an official press release that Star Wars Outlaws will be given a special treat alongside other big titles. DLSS 3, Ray Tracing, Reflex all keywords are there.
Next week, NVIDIA will be attending the annual Game Developers Conference. In advance, the American giant announced good news for everyone waiting for “Star Wars Outlaws”. And he’s far from the only one spoiled by NVIDIA!
Star Wars Outlaws joins other major titles in the next generation realm
Highly anticipated by many, if all goes well, Star Wars Outlaws will support all of NVIDIA’s flagship technologies by the end of 2024. Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, the title will actually feature Ray Tracing, Reflex and DLSS 3 upon release. If you don’t have an RTX 4000, don’t panic. The game will actually be available on GeForce NOW upon its release. Final subscribers to the cloud gaming service can therefore enjoy all the pleasures without having to sell a kidney.
However, this isn’t the only highly anticipated game that NVIDIA will spoil when it releases. The Sublime Black Myth: Wukong also joins the party. It is expected to be eligible for DLSS 3.5 on August 20th. This version of AI-powered upscaling technology notably integrates Ray Reconstruction. This was introduced as a reminder in Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0, which was released at the same time as Phantom Liberty. Alan Wake 2, one of the most beautiful games currently on the market, also benefited from this.
A nice treatment also applied to Diablo 4 in particular
Aside from these two big titles, NVIDIA doesn’t stop there. Diablo 4 will also receive an injection of ray tracing on March 26th. Blizzard’s already beautiful hack ‘n slash will shine even more thanks to the reflections present throughout. Another already released game is in the same boat: NARAKA: Bladepoint. Three areas of the game will soon be enhanced with ray tracing, the rest will be upgraded over time. The excellent and great Portal with RTX has also received an update to take advantage of DLSS 3.5.
In addition to Star Wars Outlaws and Black Myth: Wukong, two other upcoming games will receive favors from NVIDIA upon release. Outcast: A New Beginning releases tomorrow and supports DLSS 2 and DLAA. The First Berzerker: Khazan, the action role-playing game in the Dungeon and Fighter universe, will be released (at an as yet undetermined date) with support for DLSS 3 and Reflex. The same goes for Sengoku Dynasty, which was released in Early Access.
That’s all you had to remember from the very detailed book stick from NVIDIA!
