THE Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 Banner and Event Details have been officially announced for the latest patch, titled Into the Yawning Chasm.
As well as continuing the Penacony story, we get the usual two banner phases and new limited-time events – with the Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 banners featuring two new 5-star characters and one new 4-star. Many bonuses will also be available to celebrate the first anniversary of Honkai: Star Rail!

Honkai Star Rail 2.1 release date and time
Honkai Star Rail 2.1 will be released on Wednesday March 27. It should follow the usual maintenance schedule and be released at 3 a.m. (GMT). Due to time zone differences, version 2.1 will be released in the United States on Tuesday, March 26 at 11 p.m. ET.
For other time zones, the Honkai Star Rail 2.1 release date and time East:
- United States East Coast: Tuesday March 26, 11 p.m. (ET)
- Central United States: Tuesday, March 26, 10 p.m. (CT)
- West Coast of the United States: Tuesday March 26, 8 p.m. (PT)
- Australia: Wednesday March 27, 2 p.m. (AET)
- Japan: Wednesday March 27, 12 p.m. (JST)
- Europe: Wednesday March 27, 4 a.m. (CET)
- UNITED KINGDOM: Wednesday March 27, 3 a.m. (GMT)
As this is only an approximate duration of how long the servers will be down, you may be able to play patch 2.1 a little before or after the times above, but based on HoYoverse’s track record, the times they provide are almost always accurate.
Honkai Star Rail 2.1 Banners
Three new playable characters debut in version 2.1 Banners: Acheron, Aventurine and Gallagherwith 5 stars Luocha and Jingliu to come back.
Phase 1 of the 2.1 Banner Schedule begins with Acheron and Luocha, with 4-star Gallagher making his debut on both of their banners. Acheron is a new 5-star Lightning attacker from The Nihility path on his Words of Yore banner, Loucha is a returning 5-star fantasy attacker from the Abundance path on his Laic Pursuit banner, and Gallagher is a new 4-star Fire attacker from the Path of Abundance which is boosted on their two banners.
These version 2.1 Phase 1 banners start on Wednesday, March 27 and are scheduled to end on Wednesday, April 17.
In phase 2 of version 2.1 we then have Aventurine and Jingliu. Aventurine is a new 5-star fantasy attacker from the Path of Preservation on her Golden Imprisonment Banner, and Jingliu is a 5-star Ice Attacker returning from the Path of Destruction on her Gentle Moon Eclipse banner.
These version 2.1 Phase 2 banners should work from Wednesday April 17 to Tuesday May 7.
In summary, all new characters and 5 star feedback The characters you can Warp on during version 2.1 are:
- Acheron (Banner of Old Words – Phase 1): New 5-star Lightning character from The Nihility path.
- Luocha (Laic Pursuit Banner – Phase 1): Return of the 5-star imaginary character from the Path of Abundance.
- Gallagher (Words of yesteryear and banners intended, known and predicted – Phase 1): New 4-star Fire character from the Path of Abundance.
- Aventurine (Golden Imprisonment Banner – Phase 2): New 5-star imaginary character from the Path of Preservation.
- Jingliu (Banner of the Gentle Lunar Eclipse – Phase 2): Return of the 5-star ice character from The Destruction path.
In addition to these new characters, we get two new 5-star light cones in the Brilliant Fixation banner. Acheron’s iconic weapon Along the passing shore of the path The Nihility will take place alongside his character Banner in phase 1 of version 2.1. Signature of Aventurine An intrinsically unjust destiny of the path of preservation will then take place alongside its banner during phase 2.
The Bygone Reminiscence light cone banner features a replay of Luocha’s 5 Star. Echoes from the coffin Cone of Light from the Path of Abundance during Phase 1 of Jingliu Version 2.1 and 5 Stars I will be my own sword Path of Cone of Light destruction during Phase 2.

The Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 update includes:

- New April 26th birthday cake design to celebrate the first anniversary of the launch of Honkai Star Rail
- Simulated Universe Update – World Opening 9

- Two new sets of planar ornaments: Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation, as well as Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm.
- New Boss – Ten Stonehearts: Aventurine of Stratagems
- Fate’s Ensemble – A new feature that allows you to see the stories of certain characters outside of the Astral Express crew
- Fate’s Atlas Update – Ability to check from which character’s point of view each mission, ongoing or not, is told.

Thumbnails in a Cup
Here you will find yourself working as a drinks merchant at the Dreamjolt Inn. Help the manager, Siobhan, prepare a variety of drinks for the monster customers. You will have to adjust the flavors, while adding decorations and different ingredients, without forgetting to listen to the customer’s problems!
The more customers you serve, the more you will earn in income levels and, therefore, rewards. Finally, you will have the chance to unlock a 4 star character
Tides of War: Untouched Childhood Memories Ultimate Collection Passionate-Burning Heart-Soul
That’s a long event name, so let’s just call it Tides of War. This is a combat-focused event in which you accumulate Courage value as you fight, eventually allowing you to reach the Ultimate Courage phase. Here you will earn a “Might Unleashed” moment which provides powerful boosts. You’ll need to choose your team carefully to make sure you get the right boosts to unleash these powerful attacks!
Cosmodyssey
Cosmodyssey is the first anniversary event for Honkai: Star Rail and lets you play a board game inspired by the game’s past locations.
Each day you will be able to roll the dice which will cause different things to happen in the game, and as you play you will be able to collect Trailblaze funds. These funds can be given to Pom-Pom for various rewards. Although Trailblaze funds can also be used to purchase items on the board, like houses. But that’s not all: you can even send characters on missions and encounter chance events. Remember that this is a board game, so if you make a choice you don’t like, you can reroll your dice.
This event also features a selection of mini-games, including the Windfall slot and Cookie Bakery, and you can go shopping for interastral peace. (Also don’t forget the personality test. There’s a lot going on in Cosmodyssey.)
Special First Anniversary Event
You will be able to enjoy a variety of bonuses during the special first anniversary event. This includes triple rewards from a special version of the Uncanny Realm and Planar Fissure events.
There will also be a celebratory gifting event held during the anniversary. By logging into Honkai Star Rail every day for seven days, you can earn a total of 20 special Star Rail passes for free. Additionally, on April 26, each player will receive 1,600 Stellar Jade by mail.
Finally, the first recharge bonuses on the Dream Sleeve will be reset once version 2.1 is released.
