Apple lets photos “stand strong” in its latest iPhone video!
Apple’s list of creative iPhone ads continues to grow. The most recent production highlights the storage capacity of the iPhone 15 and offers a solution to one of the dilemmas that many users frequently face when managing their photos, depending on the storage capacity of their device.
The ad titled “Don’t Let Go” focuses on device storage, highlighting the 128 GB of available space in the basic models.
Latest iPhone ad focuses on storage capacity
In the nearly 40 seconds that the ad lasts, a user must make an important decision.
It all starts when the protagonist is looking at his photos on the iPhone, when suddenly Every photo on the device sings the song “Don’t Let Go” by Terrace Martin, Mr. Talkbox and PJ Morton. Ultimately, the man decides not to delete his images. The ad ends with the tagline “Lots of storage space for lots of photos.”
iPhone users pay more for more
Although Apple hints that the experience on base storage models doesn’t have to be any different, users aren’t entirely optimistic. According to a recent CIRP report, users are opting for iPhones with larger storage. In other words, if they have a 128 GB iPhone 12, they prefer to buy a 256 GB iPhone 13.
During the quarter linked to September 2023, analysis from CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners) indicates that 44% of iPhone buyers chose to upgrade to a version with more storage capacity from an iPhone model with basic storage capacity.
Currently, three iPhone 15 models can be had from 128 GB of storage capacity. The initial price of each is:
- iPhone 15 128 GB: $959.
- iPhone 15 Plus 128 GB: $1,109.
- iPhone 15 Pro 128 GB: $1,219.
Out of curiosity, Apple increased the storage capacity of its iPhone 15 Pro Max at the end of 2023 moving from a 128 GB base model to a 256 GB base model and expanding up to 1 TB in capacity. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is available from $1,469.
If you’re not into this trend and your iPhone model is 128GB, your photos may not matter, but according to Apple, you can keep them without a problem.
