It’s almost certain that Apple plans to release a new iPad Air sometime next week, but unless you want a larger screen, there’s not much reason to upgrade, especially when you can get the current model at this low price. iPad Air is a near-perfect tablet with a 10-0.9-inch Liquid Retina display, fast M1 chip, 12 MP front-facing camera with Center Stage, Apple Pencil support, USB-C and Touch ID. The new model shouldn’t change much about what we like, but it should bring a faster chip, better cameras, and a new 12.9-inch option.
If you want a bigger screen, wait. But if you just want a fantastic tablet that will be fast, capable, and good-looking for years to come, buy one before the new model arrives and it will be gone forever.
