Capcom has just put Dragon’s Dogma 2 on sale, one of the most anticipated video games of 2024. The second installment of the saga presents us with an excellent action RPG that allows us to live an epic fantasy adventure in which each you can create the character you preferbeing able to modify its appearance to obtain very varied results.
After having played a few hours, it may happen that someone wants to start a game from the beginning for whatever reason. The problem is that normally any video game has the option to start a game from the beginning or even has the option to store more than one save. However, that is not the case with this title.
In Dragon’s Dogma 2 there is no way to erase all progress within the game that has been achieved and you cannot create more than one character either. Even so, there is a way to delete the game to start a new adventure. You just have to follow a series of certain steps depending on the platform you play on, as we are going to explain below.
How to delete the game on PC on Steam
- You must access the folder located in “C:\Program Files (x86) (x86)\Steam\userdata”.
- The folder that appears corresponds to the Steam user ID.
- Once inside, several folders dedicated to the different installed games will appear. In this case, the one to look for is the one called “2054970”.
- Inside the folder a file called win64_save will appear, which is the one that needs to be deleted.
How to delete the game on PS5
- You must access the console configuration menu located in the upper right.
- Click on the stored data option.
- Choose the option to delete files saved in the console.
- Select the Dragon’s Dogma 2 game and delete it.
- Follow exactly the same process for files stored in the cloud if you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus.
How to delete the game on Xbox Series
- You must access the library of video games installed on the console and select Dragon’s Dogma 2.
- Click on the options button to access the internal game settings.
- Inside there is an option where the saved files are displayed.
- You just have to select it and click on delete all, being able to select whether it is only in the console or everywhere.
