Can you hide your helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Unfortunately, it currently appears that you can’t hide your helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
We’ve looked at the game’s settings and haven’t yet found a way to hide the headset and retain its perks. If you really want to see your character’s face and maintain the benefits of armor, we recommend wearing an open-front helmet or a visor that can be flipped up.
However, if you want to make sure you can fully see your Arisen’s face, removing the headset itself is an option.
How to remove the helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To remove your helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2, access your item menu through your pause screen. Next, in this menu, switch to the helmet icon at the top of your inventory menu:
Here you will see all the helmets you currently have in your inventory, including the one you currently have equipped on your Arisen.
To remove the helmet, select the one you are equipped with from your inventory menu and choose the “Delete” option which appears in the dropbox menu. Once selected, your Arisen will no longer wear this helmet.
Where to find helmets in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The easiest way to find helmets in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is to buy them from an armory or smithy every time you encounter one. Usually these sellers are found in settlements like Vernworth and offer a variety of merchandise as well as, of course, helmets.
That being said, we found some pants in a chest during our adventures, so you might have a chance of stumbling upon a helmet that way. However, if you are looking for a specific piece of head armor and want to customize your Arisen’s stats in a specific way, we recommend sticking to purchasing the piece you want.
