Larian Studios left us with several headlines this week, particularly regarding the studio’s future projects. For example, they let us know that one of their upcoming projects is so ambitious that not only will it eclipse Baldur’s Gate 3, but the technology they need today doesn’t exist yet.

Additionally, Swen Vincke has been very active in giving several interviews, in which he confirmed that there are no plans to develop DLC for the game or a sequel. Of course, this doesn’t mean this is the end of Baldur’s Gate 3 content.

The new endings will mark the end of Baldur’s Gate 3 content

In an interview with IGNVincke confirmed that the studio is currently working on adding new endings to the title. Concretely, they prepare bad endings for Baldur’s Gate 3.

So they are currently working on the evil endings. I’ve seen a few. They are really mean. Evil players will therefore be satisfied with it.

Of course, Swen confirms that after launching these alternate endings called evil, the development team will reduce his work with Baldur’s Gate 3. Essentially, there will be a small team responsible for supporting errors and corrections, since They will focus on the most immediate future of the study. A future that involves a new title that will be something completely new, since it will have nothing to do with either D&D or Divinity: Original Sin.
