Complete the Talon of History quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 tests your investigative skills and sense of direction when it comes to finding a missing child by chance.
You will also need to do this quest to complete the Caged Magistrate main story quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Luckily, this quest doesn’t take too long to do, especially when you know where to look.

How to start the Heel of History quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
You can start the Heel of History quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must visit Kendrick in the slums southeast of Stardrop Tavern.
He stands in front of the church and asks for donations for the poor – we had to give him food and 1000 G
Where to find Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To find Malcolm in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must first question the two children outside the Church, Harvey and Rick. With his back to the Church, the first child is directly in front of you. Talk to them then look to your right, the next one is in the middle of some ruined walls.
After talking to the two children, you can head inside the church and talk to the girl at the very back, called Aimée. She will blurt out that Malcolm went into the vaults.
Return to Kendrick and let him know what you’ve learned, he’s usually hanging around outside the Church at this point. Then follow it to the entrance to the chests and once the opening is clear, go inside.
Once inside and down the stairs. Once you reach the bottom, follow the path and you will come to a closed door.
Here, follow the path to the right of the closed door. You will come to a large hole in the ground, use the “stairs” on the left side of the hole to go down to the lower level.
From there, follow the path to the next room, go left and follow the stairs.
Then, in the next room, head to the right and you will find Malcolm. Once you find it, it will lead you to an abandoned archive and the quest will be completed.
