If you are a fan Pokémon-inspired RPG Cassette Beasts on Switch, but you’ve been craving some cassette fighting action with your friends, then you’re in luck.
During a 2024 Cassette Beasts Showcasedeveloper Bytten Studio has confirmed that the game will receive a significant update May 20, 2024 which will enable multiplayer for up to eight friends. You’ll be able to explore the world together, fight against each other, and customize the combat experience with your own set of rules.
Not only that, but the game is also entering a collaboration with Moonstone Island from the same date, and you’ll be able to pack a range of themed items inside Cassette Beasts.
Here’s exactly what the new update brings:
– Have fun and explore the world You say to the Beast with up to 8 friends, all visible in their own world.
– Join “Play with Friends” mode where players can match with anyone on their friends list via invite code
– Challenge their friends in PvP battles and assign custom rules to their battle such as enabling/disabling sticker attributes.
– Team up for 2-player co-op raids against Rogue Fusion and trade ribbons with each other.
