Free-to-play title LEGO Fortnite is getting an exciting “wheels” update. March 26adding vehicle construction to the game.
In short, the “Mechanical Mayhem update will feature three free vehicle builds, the ability to craft custom vehicles, new vehicle crafting toys, more LEGO styles, and more bug fixes. Here’s a sneak peek (via PR):
- Three free vehicle builds: Speeder, Offroader and Hauler
- Ability to create custom vehicles, using new vehicle parts in the Toys section
- New vehicle building toys including wheels, seats and power centers
- Added more LEGO styles and a number of bug fixes

- New smart transfer feature: move all similar items in and out of storage.
- It is easier to visually recognize when your structures are damaged.
- With the new vehicle build features, we had to adj ust some durability values. We recommend using higher rarity resources to strengthen your builds if any part breaks.
- Items can be dropped one at a time when the stack is raised.
- Fish pools can be found near the new (but somewhat dilapidated) docks that line lakes and rivers.
- Improvements have been made to structures to remain stable when entering and exiting caves.
- Made stabilization fixes for structures that travel long distances around the world.
THE OTHER
- The Stormy Emote will be updated to its full intended animation in LEGO Fortnite.
