As we informed you on the website at the beginning of this year, Embracer Group closed Free Radical Design, the studio behind the long-awaited revival of TimeSplitters, thus canceling the game that was on the way. Now we have more statements.
Steve Ellisco-founder of the studio, has recently shared his disappointment and stated that he is probably done your relationship with TimeSplitters forever. Ellis also noted the impact on young developers who worked on the project and have now lost the opportunity to see their first game on the market.
He has also spoken about leaked images of the game, which seemed to have similarities with Fortnite. Ellis now claims that they were not cloning that game and that the conclusions were incorrect.
