2024 was a year that started very strongly in terms of launches. One of the first to arrive was Tekken 8, the new fighting game from Bandai Namco that comes to compete for the fighting throne against Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6, arriving in the last third of 2023.
But the game’s path does not just end at launch, but awaits us a long road full of new content and above all new characters. AND The first to join the fight will be Eddy Gordo.
Eddy is ready to fight
A character who had already been confirmed before launch and who has now Release date: April 4, 2024. That is, in just one week, Tekken 8 will receive its first additional character from the first year of content. Yes you are holder of the year 1 pass of playable characters, you will be able to play with Eddy from April 1st three days before.
The announcement comes to us through a trailer where we can see Eddy in action against Azucena and Nina Williams. A sequence where the new fighter shows off all his skills in action and shows that he arrives ready to deliver the goods.
