Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition has a new update to fix various types of issues including common crashes on PC.
Horizon Forbidden West won’t retain its console exclusivity for very long. A year, a month and a few days after its release on PS4 and PC, Guerrilla Games’ exclusive game appeared on PC with a Complete Edition. A version that includes the Burning Shores expansion and is also available for PlayStation 5. And Aloy’s return to PC is going well, as the quality of the port has been praised. Apparently there are no major issues to report, unlike Horizon Zero Dawn which may have disappointed upon its release on this platform.
Horizon Forbidden West welcomes an update to PC
How does Horizon Forbidden West run on PC? Good, very good in fact, and according to Digital Foundry it’s still a kick in the gums. It has to be said that the game was already a dream on PS5, so with more efficient gear and a whole host of options there’s plenty of fun and wonder to be had there. And it seems that we will talk to you about it again soon. While we await our verdict, Horizon Forbidden West on PC is upgrading to version 1.0.43.0 to avoid some crashes.
Additionally, this update finally enables the availability of Frame Generation DLSS 3 in cutscenes or even on interface screens. This is a technology that continually improves the flow of the game by inserting additional images in addition to those generated by the game. Here are the full patch notes for Horizon Forbidden West update 1.0.43.0 on Steam.
