This is a dangerous day. The Internet is filled with jokes and lies that can deceive the unwary. But there are video game companies that are not satisfied with a little joke, but make it a reality. The April Fool’s Day joke or ‘April’s Fool’ Dead By Daylight April 1, 2024 is ‘My little Oni’, a game mode in which the killer is the giant Oni.

It’s a joke, but it’s real. ‘My Little Oni’ game mode is available in Dead by Daylight Limited Time, between the morning of Monday, April 1, and the morning of Wednesday, April 3, 2024. That’s right, we can only play it for 48 hours and then it will disappear, although we don’t know if forever.
By participating in this event we can unlock an exclusive profile image as a reward.
In the announcement of the event on social networks, Behavior joked that this mode comes at the request of some players who “asked to be stepped on.” Although the Oni was definitely not the character they were referring to when requesting this, we appreciate the gesture.
Some players were excited by the news of the ‘April’s fool’ prank because The Oni has a ‘skin’ of the Armored Titan Shingeki No Kyojin now that it is giant it would be the perfect opportunity to recreate scenes from the ‘anime’ and ‘manga’ in Dead by Daylight. Sadly it is not possible because cosmetics are disabled in this event. Others are saying that this game mode can be used to introduce a collaboration with some ‘kaiju’ in the future. Maybe Godzilla?
