How to Change Appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you want to change your appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to go to a Barber Shop. The best place to look for a Barberie is in larger towns such as Vernworth, where Clovis Barberie is located. Just keep an eye out for the little scissors icon, that signal where you can find a barbershop!
Once at the Barberie, speak to the barber and he will offer you the following services:
- Change hairstyle – 10,000 gold
- Adjust makeup – 10,000 gold
- Give marks – 10,000 gold
- Change multiple – 25,000 gold
- Change Appearance
It is important to note that the prices above are from Clovis’s Barberies. Prices in other Barberies may differ.
As you can see, the main services offered by a barbershop are makeup changes, branding (like tattoos), and of course, haircuts. However, if you want a more in-depth makeover, you will need to find a specific item and give it to the hairdresser.
Keep in mind that the only thing you can not the change concerning your Arisen or your Main Pawn is their race. If you selected humans, they will always be humans, but if you selected beasts, they will always be beasts.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator Explained
Saying that Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator is in-depth is like saying that The Pokémon Company likes to use Pikachu in its marketing materials. I’ve never had the ability to decide the length of my avatar’s arms before, let alone choose which teeth he can or can’t have. Needless to say, I wouldn’t blame you for spending hours just playing with the character creator of the Arisen or your main pawn.
An important thing to remember with the character creator is that you can not change your race to the Arisen or your main pawn. If you want them to be human, you can’t turn them into beasts or vice versa.
You al so cannot have an elf as Resurrected or as a main pawn. It is, however, possible to give your character pointy, elf-shaped ears, so that will do the trick.
If you haven’t purchased Dragon’s Dogma 2 yet, or just want to play with the character creator, you can download Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator and Storage for free from Steam, the PS Plus store, or the Xbox store. This will give you full access to the character creator and the ability to store five Arisen characters and five Main Pawn characters. You can then transfer them into the game itself.
Have fun creating your Dragon Dogma 2 characters!
