News wise Bag of Barcus Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to find him to get your compensation?
During your BG3 adventure, you will encounter many NPCs who will offer you side quests. One of the first you’ll meet is Barcus, and we’ll walk you through how to find his bag and its loot!
Before you go looking for Barcus’ bag in Baldur’s Gate III, you have to free him! When you arrive in the village under the control of the goblins, you can actually meet them. For that, Go to the village mill.

When we got back to Barcus, he was tied to the mill’s propellers by two goblins and you can save him. To do this, first talk to the goblins and convince them to leave Barcus alone. Once it’s good, go into the mill and pull the brake lever. Be careful not to make a mistake, otherwise the mill will accelerate and Barcus will fly towards certain death.

Then return to Barcus, who will thank you and leave. However, he will tell you what will interest us here, his backpack. He will reveal to you that he has lost it but that he doesn’t care because he has burdened it and That’s why he was captured by the goblins.
