In three weeks, Stellar Blade, the debut work of the Korean studio Shift Up, will be released. The game director can already provide information about planned post-launch content and also addresses the topic of microtransactions.
What you will definitely have to do without when it is released is a photo mode for Stellar Blade. The development studio does not rule out the possibility that it will be submitted later, but of course nothing is ready for a decision yet.

In an interview, game director Kim Hyung Tae spoke in more detail about the planned post-launch content for Stellar Blade. The studio wants to take a close look at the players’ feedback and deliver fresh content based on it.
A New Game Plus is definitely planned; this mode has proven to be a real fan favorite in the past. There are no additional costs for him in the case of Stellar Blade.
The same applies to outfits for the main character Eve. According to Kim Hyung Tae, there are already tons of clothes for the whipping lady in the release version, but more will be added after the release. The studio deliberately avoids microtransactions; the only exception could be outfits that are created based on collaboration with other companies. But nothing is ready to be announced here yet.
Stellbar Blade will initially appear exclusively on PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024. The hack-and-slay is noticeably based on genre greats like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry. If you want to check for yourself whether the game is for you, you can put your skills to the test in the free demo.
