Palworld characteristics Raids where you can summon big, powerful buddies to take on them. You’ll need to build some specific structures and find plate fragments to actually take on these powerful creatures Bellanoir.
You can’t catch this raid buddy, but once you defeat him, he’ll drop an egg that will hatch into a Bellanoir. There is also a more difficult version of the fight where you have to fight Bellanoir for free, an improved version that changes type during battle. There is also a even harder Version, labeled Bellanoir Free (Ultra) for those who love a challenge.
There are a few things you need before tackling raids Palworldand we list the requirements (plus some tips) below.
How to summon a Bellanoir for raids in Palworld
At least one player on your server must set up the raid, which requires:
- Four Bellanoir plate fragments that can be transformed into a Bellanoir plate
- A workbench or assembly line for crafting
- A Summoning Altar (unlocked at level 33 with Ancient Technology points, costs 100 Stones and 20 Paldium Fragments)
- A base that can house the Summoning Altar
Note that The upcoming raid, Pal, will likely destroy your baseSo We recommend building a new base in a remote location and using it as a “raid base”. We brought Bellanoir into our now abandoned ore farm and not only did it wipe out all the ore deposits, it also destroyed the summoning altar.
Do not summon Bellanoir in a base where your Palbox is on a foundation. If she breaks the palbox, the raid will immediately end in a loss. The Palbox is stable enough on its own, but if the foundation on which the Palbox stands breaks, the Palbox will also break.
Once you have at least four plate fragments, you can go to your workbench and start crafting Bellanoir plate.
Once you have the plate, place it in the summoning altar and summon the buddy! All plates are disposable items. So if you want to fight Bellanoir again, you’ll need to find more plate fragments.
Where can I find Bellanoir plate fragments?
Bellanoir Plate Fragments can be found in chests. We had the best luck finding the plate fragments in the final chests, which are given as rewards for clearing dungeons. We didn’t find it any Plates in overworld chests, but it’s possible we were just really unlucky.
We were able to find both Bellanoir and Bellanoir Liberos Plate Fragments in caves of different levels, with the Bellanoir Libero Plate Fragment being in a higher level dungeon.
How to defeat Bellanoir in Palworld
Bellanoir has almost 300,000 HP and you only have 10 minutes to take it down. As a dark type, Bellanoir is weak to Dragon-type moves.
You’ll need to bring some strong weapons (and make sure they don’t break). Shotguns or assault rifles to take it down, along with strong armor and buddies. Remember that this is a battle fought at your base. You can have 16 of your friends fight alongside you (15 base Pals and one Pal from your party). Just bring the strongest you have out of the palbox and into the base and they will help you knock them down.
Endgame-oriented players probably won’t find this fight too disturbing. We were just able to grab a few legendary friends from camp on the regular Bellanoir and it was running out pretty quickly. We were also able to defeat Bellanoir one-on-one with just a buddy and an assault rifle, although it wasn’t nearly as quick.
Bellanoir Libero, the tougher version of this fight, has a whopping 450,000 HP and switches to Ice-type during the fight, so you really have to bring your strongest friends and exploit his weakness to defeat him within the time limit. As a Dark-type, he’s still vulnerable to Dragon-type attacks like his easier counterpart, but you’ll want to take him out with Fire-type moves once he switches to Ice. The Bellanoir Libero (Ultra) has 900,000 hp.
